Concord, CA (September 21, 2025) – A late Thursday night collision involving several vehicles occurred on Highway 4 close to the Port Chicago Highway interchange, resulting in at least one individual being injured. The accident took place at approximately 10:13 PM. The California Highway Patrol reported that three vehicles were involved in the incident. Paramedics arrived at the scene to assist several individuals, and one person was taken to a nearby hospital for further assessment. The status of that person’s health has not been verified yet. Emergency responders and medical teams stayed at the scene to provide care for all victims while officials focused on removing the wrecked vehicles from the road. While it has been confirmed that three vehicles were involved, investigators have not yet figured out the exact order of events that caused the accident. The event led to short-term traffic delays on Hwy 4 while emergency personnel managed the situation and diverted drivers from the impacted lanes.
