A traffic collision involving a big rig was reported on eastbound State Route 91 near Weir Canyon on Oct. 22, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash was reported at about 3:20 p.m. on eastbound 91, just east of Weir Canyon. The location was identified in the Santa Ana CHP area.
Two minutes after the initial report, a reporting party told CHP that the big-rig driver did not have insurance. The reporting party requested CHP assistance in connection with that information.
The dispatch information did not document any injuries, lane closures, vehicle fires or overturned vehicles. No additional collision details were provided in the available CHP updates.
