A traffic collision was reported at 2:43 p.m. Oct. 22 on northbound Interstate 5 near Riverside Drive in the Central Los Angeles area. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash location was listed on northbound I-5 just south of Riverside Drive. CHP did not report any lane closures, blocked lanes, vehicle descriptions or additional roadway hazards in the available dispatch information.
At approximately 3:59 p.m., CHP updated the incident to indicate that both involved parties remained at the scene. The update confirmed that the participants were still present when the information was relayed to dispatch.
The available CHP record does not document an ambulance response, fire department assistance or a towing request. No further collision details were provided in the dispatch update.
