A four-vehicle collision was reported at about 1:55 p.m. Oct. 3 on northbound U.S. 101 just south of the 4th Street off-ramp in California. The incident was handled within the California Highway Patrol’s Central Los Angeles area.
CHP dispatch information listed four vehicles in the collision. The vehicles were reported in the vicinity of northbound 101 near the 4th Street exit.
An ambulance was reported en route to the scene. The dispatch information did not specify whether anyone was injured or whether anyone required transportation for medical treatment.
A later CHP update at about 3:50 p.m. continued to identify the incident as involving four vehicles. The available dispatch information did not report a lane closure, vehicle removal, or additional roadway impacts.
