A traffic collision without reported injuries was documented Sept. 26 near Occidental Road and Coffee Lane in the Santa Rosa area. The incident was reported at about 4:37 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
The CHP incident description identified the location near Occidental Road and Coffee Lane. No injuries were reported in the initial classification of the collision.
A later update at 4:56 p.m. reported that a utility pole near Occidental Road and Mill Station Road had been broken in half. Wires were hanging low in the area, creating an additional hazard following the collision.
The utility provider was notified and asked to respond on an expedited basis. The dispatch information did not provide further details about the vehicles involved or any additional roadway restrictions.
