A hit-and-run incident with no reported injuries was logged Sept. 21 near State Route 88 and Eggiman Lane in California. The report was received at about 2:36 p.m. in the California Highway Patrol’s Amador area.
CHP dispatch information indicated that the incident was connected to an earlier collision involving a semitrailer. The available report did not identify the vehicles involved in the hit-and-run or describe the damage.
At about 2:41 p.m., neighbors advised CHP that the incident was related to the earlier semitrailer collision. The dispatch update referenced the prior collision reports as part of the incident record.
CHP classified the incident as a hit-and-run without injuries. No additional information about a suspect vehicle, roadway closures, arrests or citations was included in the dispatch information.
