A hit-and-run collision with no reported injuries was recorded early Sept. 18 on northbound Interstate 15 near Oakie Flat in the San Bernardino area. The incident was reported at approximately 12:06 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol identified the location as northbound I-15 at Oakie Flat. Dispatch information classified the incident as a hit-and-run collision without reported injuries.
A later CHP update, logged at approximately 1:25 a.m., indicated that a tow truck was requested for the scene. The dispatch information did not identify the involved vehicles or provide additional details about the hit-and-run driver.
No injuries were reported in the CHP incident record. The available dispatch information also did not specify whether any lanes were blocked or describe the final roadway conditions.
