A traffic collision was reported Sept. 13 on southbound Interstate 15 near the Cima Road off-ramp in the Barstow area. The incident location was identified as near mile marker 166 on the southbound freeway.
The collision was first logged at 2:58 p.m. The CHP dispatch classification indicated that an ambulance was en route to the scene.
At 3:42 p.m., a reporting party told the California Highway Patrol that the collision had just occurred. The available dispatch information did not include descriptions of the vehicles involved.
CHP did not provide injury details, information about lane closures, or an account of what led to the collision. The report identified the location as the southbound I-15 junction with the Cima Road off-ramp.
