A hit-and-run incident with no reported injuries was logged Saturday afternoon near the southbound U.S. 101 off-ramp at West Main Street in the Ventura area. The incident was reported at approximately 3:43 p.m. on September 12, 2026.
The California Highway Patrol later reported that the involved vehicle was on the right-hand shoulder of northbound Highway 33. The vehicle was located just south of Stanley, according to a dispatch update issued at about 3:50 p.m.
The initial CHP incident classification identified the case as a hit-and-run without injuries. The dispatch information did not identify another vehicle or provide additional details about the circumstances of the reported incident.
