A hit-and-run incident with no reported injuries was reported at about 3:17 p.m. Sept. 11 on northbound State Route 1 near Fremont. The incident was handled through the California Highway Patrol’s Monterey area.
The dispatch location was listed as northbound Highway 1 at the south side of Fremont. No vehicle descriptions or additional collision circumstances were included in the available CHP information.
At approximately 3:45 p.m., a CHP unit was reported en route to meet the reporting party. The dispatch update indicated that the unit had been unable to establish contact with that person at that time.
