A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles was reported Sept. 10 near Clovis Road and Phelan Road in California. The incident was reported at about 2:11 p.m., and no injuries were reported.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch information, one vehicle was backing up when its door was opened during the maneuver. The open door struck the reporting party’s vehicle.
The collision was documented near the Clovis Road address listed by CHP. The dispatch information did not provide additional descriptions of the vehicles or indicate that anyone required medical treatment.
