A traffic collision involving a motorcycle was reported Aug. 30 on westbound State Route 22 near Valley View. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with an ambulance en route.
The crash location was listed as westbound SR-22 just east of Valley View in the Westminster CHP area. The initial dispatch time was 9:26 a.m., according to CHP information.
A witness reported that the motorcycle had been traveling at approximately 100 mph before the collision. The witness also said the motorcycle had been moving in and out of traffic lanes.
CHP received the witness information in a later dispatch update at 12:23 p.m. The available information does not identify additional vehicles or provide a confirmed injury report.
