A vehicle swerved off the eastbound side of State Route 243 near Pine Crest Avenue in California on Aug. 28, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information. The incident was reported at approximately 3:50 p.m., and CHP classified the collision as involving unknown injuries.
The vehicle struck a rock after swerving, CHP reported in an update issued three minutes later. The impact left two of the vehicle’s tires flat.
The location was described as eastbound just east of Pine Crest Avenue. The dispatch information did not identify another vehicle as being involved in the incident.
CHP did not provide a confirmed injury status or details about medical treatment. The available dispatch information also did not document a lane closure, fire response or towing request.
