A traffic collision was reported at about 3:55 p.m. Aug. 28 on westbound Interstate 10 near Archibald Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The California Highway Patrol dispatch classified the incident as a traffic collision with an ambulance en route.
A reporting party was identified as being in a Kia involved in the incident. The dispatch did not provide information about additional vehicles or describe the circumstances of the collision.
In a follow-up entry at 3:59 p.m., the reporting party indicated they would arrange for their own towing assistance. The dispatch did not identify any lane closures, overturned vehicles or roadway debris.
CHP did not provide details about injuries, the ambulance’s destination or the condition of the Kia. The available report also did not state whether the collision affected traffic on westbound I-10.
