A traffic collision with no reported injuries occurred Aug. 27 on the northbound Interstate 5 on-ramp at Imperial Highway in the Santa Fe Springs CHP area. The incident was reported at about 2:15 p.m.
The crash location was identified as the Imperial Highway on-ramp to northbound I-5. CHP classified the incident as a collision without injuries.
By 3:34 p.m., CHP reported that a vehicle was being taken off the roadway near a gas station. The update indicated that the vehicle was being moved away from the immediate collision area.
Towing assistance was requested, and personnel were standing by as the vehicle-removal process continued. CHP dispatch information did not report additional injuries or other roadway impacts.
