A traffic collision with unknown injuries was reported at about 3:45 p.m. Aug. 27 on northbound State Route 41 at the Shields Avenue off-ramp in California. The California Highway Patrol logged the incident in the Fresno area.
The reported location was identified as northbound 41 at Shields Avenue. CHP dispatch information did not specify how many vehicles were involved or describe the vehicles.
At about 3:53 p.m., a CHP update noted that a husky was walking southbound in the connector. The dispatch entry did not state whether the dog was involved in the collision or provide information about its owner.
