A traffic collision was reported Wednesday afternoon on eastbound Interstate 10 near the Sandalwood Drive off-ramp in the San Gorgonio Pass area. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The incident was logged at about 3:21 p.m. Aug. 26, 2026. The dispatch location placed it on eastbound I-10 at the Sandalwood Drive off-ramp.
A later CHP update, recorded at about 4:09 p.m., stated that a crate had been moved to the center divider. The dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or indicate that anyone required medical treatment.
The available CHP record did not document additional injuries, emergency medical transport, or a roadway closure. The final update focused on the crate’s relocation from the collision area to the center divider.
