A traffic collision involving two vehicles was reported at 3:13 p.m. Aug. 24, 2026, on northbound U.S. 101 just south of Hillsdale Boulevard. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The vehicles were located on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway, according to a CHP update issued at 3:15 p.m. The dispatch information did not identify the vehicles or describe damage.
The crash occurred near the Hillsdale Boulevard off-ramp in the area covered by the CHP’s Redwood City office. Both vehicles remained on the right side of the roadway after the collision.
CHP did not report lane closures, additional emergency response or a need for towing in the available dispatch information. No further details about the circumstances of the collision were provided.
