A traffic collision was reported at about 1:50 p.m. Aug. 23 on the northbound Highway 85 connector to northbound U.S. 101 in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash occurred on the connector linking northbound State Route 85 with northbound U.S. 101. CHP identified the incident within its Redwood City area, but the dispatch information did not provide further details about the vehicles involved.
A later CHP update indicated that an advance call for roadside assistance had been canceled. The dispatch noted that the cancellation may have followed a membership issue or the motorist arranging a tow independently.
By the time of the update, records showed the member checked in at approximately 3:33 p.m. CHP reported the cancellation notification at 3:43 p.m., and no additional injuries or roadway closures were documented in the available information.
