A collision involving two semitrailer trucks was reported at about 3:38 p.m. Aug. 20 on northbound Interstate 605 just south of Interstate 5 in California. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a traffic collision with no injuries reported.
The trucks were located on the right shoulder of northbound 605, according to the CHP dispatch entry. The location was identified near the Interstate 5 interchange within the Santa Fe Springs CHP area.
One party contacted the CHP to report the collision. The dispatch information did not identify any additional vehicles involved beyond the two semitrailers.
The available CHP update recorded the trucks on the shoulder and indicated that no injuries were reported. No further incident developments were included in the dispatch record.
