A traffic collision involving two vehicles was reported Aug. 20 on southbound State Route 51, just south of El Camino Avenue. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as one involving unknown injuries.
The dispatch entry was recorded at approximately 3:59 p.m. The location description placed the crash on the southbound side of the highway, just south of the El Camino Avenue area.
A subsequent CHP detail stated that both vehicles were on the right-hand shoulder. The information provided did not indicate that either vehicle was blocking travel lanes.
CHP dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or provide further details about injuries, emergency medical treatment, a roadway closure or towing activity.
