Isla Vista, CA (May 3, 2026) – A pedestrian suffered injuries in a hit-and-run collision Sunday morning at an Isla Vista intersection. California Highway Patrol reports indicate the incident took place around 9:00 a.m. At the crossroads of Cervantes Road and Embarcadero Del Norte. Preliminary reports show a vehicle hit a pedestrian and then fled the area. Emergency responders arrived, offering medical aid to the injured individual. Although the severity of the injuries has not been officially disclosed, authorities are investigating to obtain information on the suspect vehicle and driver in the crash.
