Hidden Hills, CA (April 22, 2026) – One fatality and one injury occurred early Wednesday morning, April 22, in a multi-vehicle collision on the westbound U.S. 101 Freeway near Valley Circle Boulevard. Emergency responders arrived at the scene after reports of a crash involving several vehicles. Preliminary reports suggest the incident involved two distinct crashes: an initial two-vehicle collision, followed by a third vehicle hitting the involved vehicles. One person was declared dead at the scene. A different person was extracted from the vehicle and transported to a hospital. The names of those involved and the status of the injured individual have not been made public. All westbound lanes were temporarily shut down while crews handled the scene, with traffic rerouted off the freeway. Officials are still probing the cause of the crash, with further details to be shared as they emerge. We extend our sympathies to the victim’s family.
