Sea Ranch, CA (April 18, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on Highway 1 in Sea Ranch on Friday afternoon claimed one life and injured two others. The crash occurred at approximately 4:53 p.m. on Friday, April 17, at the Highway 1 and Yardarm Drive intersection. According to reports, a Tesla driver tried to make a left turn onto northbound Highway 1, crossing into the path of a southbound Dodge pickup truck pulling a trailer. The pickup couldn’t avoid the impact, resulting in a collision at the intersection. The driver of the Tesla was declared dead on site. A Tesla passenger was airlifted to a hospital suffering serious injuries, while the Dodge pickup driver was transported by ambulance with moderate injuries. Officials are still probing the crash’s cause, with additional information to be shared when available. Our deepest condolences go to the deceased’s family.
