Hesperia, CA (April 8, 2026) – A 60-year-old man was killed and another individual injured in a two-vehicle collision at a Hesperia intersection. The crash happened around 6:25 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, at the intersection of Main Street and Balsam Avenue. Officials reported that a gray Toyota Camry and a blue 2015 Toyota Camry crashed at the intersection, resulting in major damage to both cars. Emergency responders reached the scene and discovered Martin Ramirez, of Hesperia, unresponsive in the driver’s seat of the blue Camry. He was declared dead on site. The 23-year-old driver of the gray Camry was found outside his vehicle and transported to a hospital with minor injuries. Officials stated that drugs or alcohol are not believed to have played a role in the crash. The westbound lanes of Main Street remained closed for several hours while crews handled the scene.
