Sebastopol, CA (April 8, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision at a Sebastopol intersection left three people injured. The crash occurred around 3:32 p.m. On Wednesday, April 8, at the intersection of State Route 116 and Hessel Road. Officials reported that a white Volkswagen SUV crashed into another white SUV, obstructing both lanes of the road. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to aid those involved. One individual was trapped in a vehicle and required extrication, two others sustained moderate injuries, and one had minor injuries. Road closures were implemented on Hessel Road and surrounding areas while crews cleared the scene. No arrests have been made in relation to the crash. Officials are still probing the cause, and additional information will be shared as it emerges. We are thinking of those injured as they receive medical care.
