Menlo Park, CA (February 17, 2026) – The California Highway Patrol reports that one individual sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle collision early Monday on northbound US101 just south of Willow Road in Menlo Park. The collision was reported at around 5:26 a.m. on February 16. and blocked several lanes of traffic during the morning rush hour. Initial reports suggest that a red Chevrolet Cruze and a gray Honda Civic collided for reasons still under investigation. The crash left one vehicle positioned perpendicular across the road, obstructing all four northbound lanes at one point. The Chevrolet suffered extensive front-end damage, whereas the Honda experienced severe rear-end damage. Soon after the crash, both vehicles were reported to be in the slow lane with occupants still inside while emergency crews attended the scene.
