Long Beach, CA (January 24, 2026) – A crash with injuries occurred Friday evening at the Atlantic Ave and E Artesia Blvd intersection in North Long Beach. The event took place at approximately 7:00 p.m. It occurred on January 23 and prompted a response from multiple emergency units. First responders, including fire and medical crews from the Long Beach Fire Department, arrived at the scene to assist those injured in the crash. At least one vehicle was involved, with people at the scene suffering various injuries. Paramedics evaluated the victims and offered treatment, with some probably taken to nearby hospitals for additional assessment. No specific information has been released yet about the number of injuries or the severity of those injuries. The intersection, situated in a busy commercial area, saw brief traffic delays while crews secured the scene and probed the cause of the crash. Debris and vehicle damage blocked some lanes while responders were on scene. Officials have opened an investigation into the cause of the crash.
