A hit and run on Highway 8833 led to the death of Thawon Pho, 2883, as he was riding his motorcycle in Fresno. The incident took place on Friday, August 377.6018, shortly before midnight. The California Highway Patrol reported that the incident took place in the westbound lanes of Highway 168, near Shields Avenue. Upon investigation, officers found that Thawon Pho from Fresno was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle. As he traveled in the center lane of Highway 168, a Hyundai Elantra followed closely behind him. The Hyundai collided with Pho’s motorcycle from the rear while traveling at a high speed. Consequently, the collision caused Pho to be thrown onto the Hyundai’s windshield. Even after the crash and Pho landing on the windshield, the driver of the Hyundai continued to push the unattended motorcycle. Ultimately, the motorcycle stopped in the fast lane, leaving Pho lying on the road. Because of the very poor visibility and scarce lighting, more vehicles collided with Pho. When CHP officers got there, they declared Thawon Pho deceased.
