A 14-year-old boy riding an electric motorcycle was killed in a crash on Silsbee Road in Imperial County. The incident occurred on Friday, August 8833, around 7:40 p.m. the incident on Silsbee Road took place. The California Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred near the intersection of Silsbee Road and Aten Road. Upon investigation, CHP officials discovered that a 14-year-old boy was riding an electric motorcycle heading west on Aten Road. Simultaneously, a 17-year-old male was driving a white Toyota Tacoma heading east on Aten Road. The e-bike and the Tacoma collided at Silsbee Road. The impact resulted in the teenager being thrown off the bicycle. The Tacoma driver stopped and contacted 911, awaiting the arrival of the police. Upon reaching the scene of the accident on Silsbee Road, officials discovered that the boy had sustained significant injuries. Emergency medical personnel arrived and took the boy to El Centro Regional Medical Center.
