San Bernardino, CA (September 15, 2025) – A young woman from Fontana tragically died in a deadly accident early Saturday morning in San Bernardino, as reported by the San Bernardino Police Department. The incident took place around 4:53 AM on September 13 in the 1500 block of West Kendall Dr, a street linking various residential and commuter pathways on the western side of the city. Officials have confirmed the identity of the deceased as 22-year-old Desiree Herrera. Emergency responders declared her dead at the location of the incident. Authorities have yet to provide information about the conditions surrounding the accident, including the involvement of other vehicles or whether elements like speed, distraction, or impairment were contributing factors. Currently, the reason for the incident is still being examined by the traffic division of the SBDP. Following the crash, the road was briefly shut down while officers collected evidence from the site and collaborated with emergency medical teams. No further injuries were reported.
