The incident took place around 9:40 in the evening. This triggered an immediate reaction from local emergency services. First responders reached the scene quickly and administered crucial assistance to the hurt pedestrian, who was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The accident occurred on a particularly hazardous section of the PCH, where tight lanes and restricted visibility frequently create difficulties for drivers and pedestrians, especially at night.
