Los Angeles, CA (September 15, 2025) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries late Friday night due to a hit-and-run incident in the Mid-City region of Los Angeles, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department. The tragic accident took place around 10:20 PM on September 12, at the crossroads of La Brea Ave and Venice Blvd. Officials stated that a person walking was trying to cross La Brea Ave when a vehicle traveling north, identified as a dark or silver Honda RX, hit them. The driver did not stop to help and fled the scene before emergency responders reached the area. Paramedics took the injured pedestrian to a local hospital, where the individual was subsequently declared deceased. The identity of the individual has not yet been disclosed to the public as the family has not been informed. The LAPD is currently conducting an investigation and is calling on anyone who saw the event or possesses surveillance video from the vicinity to step forward.
