Long Beach, CA (October 14, 2025) – A 10-year-old boy suffered a shoulder injury on Monday afternoon due to a traffic accident at the intersection of California Avenue and Corson Street in Long Beach. The event took place at approximately 2:39 PM. This triggered both medical and police responses. Emergency personnel quickly arrived at the scene after reports of a child being hit or involved in a traffic accident. Paramedics delivered prompt treatment for a shoulder injury at the location. The child stayed alert and was stabilized prior to additional assessment. It is currently unverified if he was walking, riding a bike, or being transported by someone else during the event. The Long Beach Police Department has been called to the scene to aid in the investigation of the situation. Authorities spoke with witnesses and investigated the cause of the injury at the residential intersection. No further injuries were reported, and traffic in the vicinity was only momentarily disrupted during the emergency response. Additional updates might be shared as officials investigate the situation. Our sympathies are with the young boy and his family during his recovery.
