The crash occurred just after 9:00 PM in the southbound lanes of Weedpatch Highway (CA-184) at the intersection with Wharton Avenue.. Emergency medical services responded swiftly and transported the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital. CHP confirmed that the individual sustained significant injuries as a result of the impact.
