Irvine, CA (October 21, 2025) – A motorcycle rider lost their life in a tragic accident on Sunday evening in Irvine, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The fatal incident took place at approximately 8:23 p.m. Near the intersection of Santiago Canyon Rd and Red Rock Canyon Rd, officials announced that a motorcyclist was in a crash with a red SUV, with the details of the incident still being looked into. The impact’s force sent the SUV tumbling down an embankment. Emergency responders quickly reached the location and confirmed that at least one person had lost their life due to the accident. Authorities have not confirmed whether the deceased was the motorcyclist or someone inside the SUV. There have been no reports of further injuries, and the identities of those involved have not been made public yet.
