Garden Grove, CA (August 18, 2025) – A tragic collision claimed the life of a motorcyclist Sunday morning after they were struck by a suspected DUI driver in a minivan on Garden Grove Blvd near Cannery St, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.
The deadly crash occurred around 9:42 a.m. in the 9100 block of Garden Grove Blvd. Preliminary reports indicate that the motorcyclist was traveling along the roadway when the minivan, operated by a driver believed to be under the influence, collided with them. First responders arrived at the scene within minutes and attempted lifesaving measures, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
