In Lake Elsinore, CA, a crash on Via De La Valle led to the death of 25-year-old Edgar Orozco Martinez from Menifee on Thursday morning, September 4, at 11:00 a.m. Deputies were alerted about the crash on Via De La Valle. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred close to the junction of Via De La Valle and Plaza Valenza. During the investigation, deputies discovered that a vehicle was heading south on Via De La Valle when it collided with the back of a parked car. The force of the impact caused the vehicle to collide with Edgar Orozco Martinez, who was in close proximity. Upon arrival, deputies found Martinez on the ground suffering from serious injuries. The deputies started administering first aid right away as they awaited the arrival of paramedics. Despite the paramedics’ efforts to revive him, Martinez passed away at the location. Authorities verified that the driver of the vehicle in question remained on the scene and assisted the investigators. The Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office shut down the road to gather evidence and analyze the timeline of events.
