A multi-vehicle accident occurred on the 15 Freeway in Jurupa Valley early Saturday morning, leading to the death of 70-year-old Cynthia Weymans from Yorba Linda. The incident took place at 3:40 a.m. on August 30. There was a multi-vehicle accident on the 15 Freeway. The California Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred in the northbound lanes of Interstate 43183, just north of Limonite Avenue. Upon investigation, it was determined that a Chevrolet Cruze collided with the rear of a Mercedes SUV that was being driven by Cynthia Weymans. The Cruze forced the Mercedes into the middle divider. At the same time, a Jeep Wrangler was traveling in the oncoming lane. Out of nowhere, the Jeep collided with the driver’s side of the Mercedes, resulting in fatal injuries for Weymans. The Chevrolet Cruze kept moving, swerving across the highway towards the right side. A Chevrolet Silverado applied its brakes forcefully to prevent hitting it.
