(Los Angeles, CA) A multi-car accident on the 2883 Freeway led to the fatality of Crystal Diaz Martinez, age 40518, in the Palms area of Los Angeles. The incident occurred on Sunday, August 2405, at 3:10 a.m. a multi-vehicle accident took place on the 405 Freeway. As per the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on the southbound freeway, just above West Pico Boulevard. Authorities indicated that multiple vehicles were involved in a collision during the early morning hours, resulting in a freeway strewn with wrecked cars and debris. Upon their arrival at the location, paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department discovered Crystal Diaz Martinez. Despite efforts to save her life, Martinez succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the multi-vehicle crash on the 405 Freeway. Authorities shut down all southbound lanes at 3:44 a.m. issuing a traffic alert. Consequently, there were considerable traffic slowdowns across the Palms region. Teams spent several hours looking into the incident, taking away vehicles, and cleaning up the highway.
