In Silverado, CA, a tragic accident on Santiago Canyon Road on Friday afternoon resulted in the death of one driver and injuries to three others, including a child. The incident occurred on September 4 at 1:15 p.m. The California Highway Patrol was informed about the accident on Santiago Canyon Road. CHP Officer Fernando Perez reported that the incident took place at the junction of Santiago Canyon Road and Silverado Canyon Road. During their investigation, officials discovered that a car traveling south suddenly crossed into the lane of oncoming vehicles for reasons that are currently unclear. The vehicle crashed directly into another car that was heading north. A third vehicle traveling north was caught up in the accident shortly after. Rescue teams quickly arrived at the location. Paramedics took two adults and a child to a local hospital for medical care regarding their injuries. CHP officials have verified that a motorist in a car heading north was pronounced dead at the location of the incident.
