Sacramento, CA (September 11, 2025) – A child was hurt in a single-vehicle accident close to the corner of Grand Ave and Winners Cir on Wednesday afternoon, which led to a swift reaction from local police and emergency medical services. The crash took place at approximately 12:47 p.m. which includes a gray Honda Civic, with the details still being examined. Officials from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and local police were notified via a 901A injury collision report, which included reports of injuries to a child passenger whose severity was not specified. Firefighters and paramedics were promptly sent to the location to render medical assistance. The child received treatment at the location, but it is not known if they needed to be taken to a hospital. Authorities have yet to verify if there were additional passengers in the vehicle or what might have led to the accident. The specific object or danger the vehicle collided with has not been revealed to the public. The vicinity of Grand Ave and Winners Cir was kept active for some time while emergency personnel responded and carried out a preliminary investigation. At this time, there have been no citations or arrests, and more information will be provided once the investigation concludes.
