A two-vehicle collision was reported Oct. 3 at the intersection of Dairy Creek Road and northbound Highway 1 in the San Luis Obispo area. The California Highway Patrol reported that an ambulance was en route to the scene.
One vehicle came to a stop on southbound Highway 1, while the other was located on the northbound side of the highway. CHP did not report that either vehicle was blocking traffic lanes.
Debris from the collision was scattered near the vehicles, according to a dispatch update issued shortly after the initial report. The vehicles themselves were described as being clear of the roadway.
At least one occupant had exited a vehicle and was sitting along the side of the highway. The dispatch information did not specify the extent of any injuries or provide additional details about the vehicles.
