Tulare County, CA (September 10, 2025) – On Monday morning, a significant multi-car accident resulted in multiple injuries after a driver allegedly ignored a red light at a rural intersection in Tulare County. The incident took place at approximately 6:00 a.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, on September 8, there was an incident at the junction of Avenue 432 and Road 120. Officials reported that the driver of a Ford Excursion did not halt at a red signal and crashed into a pickup truck heading north through the intersection on Road 120. The collision’s impact caused the vehicles to spin, hitting a third vehicle that was stationary at the intersection. The vehicle incurred further damage, but the number of injured passengers remains unknown. Among the individuals in the SUV, several were injured, with one person being severely hurt and needing to be airlifted to a hospital. Some individuals received medical care at the location or were transported to nearby healthcare facilities. Authorities have verified that neither drugs nor alcohol contributed to the accident. CHP officers are still examining the timeline of events to find out if speeding or distraction influenced the driver’s inability to halt.
