A traffic collision was reported at about 5:16 p.m. Oct. 1 on southbound Interstate 5 near the Euclid Street off-ramp in Orange County, California. The location was described as southbound I-5 just north of Euclid Street.
A subsequent California Highway Patrol update at 5:26 p.m. stated that all vehicles involved were on the right shoulder. The dispatch information did not indicate that travel lanes were blocked.
CHP classified the incident as a traffic collision with emergency response en route. The available report did not identify the number or types of vehicles involved.
