Covina, CA (September 20, 2025) – An individual was injured in a car accident that happened early Saturday morning at the crossroads of S Grand Ave and W Baseline Rd in Covina. The event was reported around 1:25 a.m. This led to a reaction from local fire and emergency medical teams. Emergency responders reached the site soon after the accident was reported and discovered that at least one individual had been injured. Medical personnel assessed the person and administered care at the location. Information about the extent of injuries and the necessity for hospitalization has not been released, but officials have verified that medical assistance was provided on-site. Traffic in the vicinity was briefly affected as emergency responders secured the intersection and evaluated the situation. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash, with officials looking into the possibility of speed, impaired driving, or road conditions being contributing factors.
